Billing portal

What the Stripe customer portal handles, who in your workspace can open it, and why a workspace provisioned by a reseller does not have one.

Payment details, invoices, and cancellation are handled by the Stripe customer portal, opened in a new tab from the billing page. A first paid plan starts from Stripe Checkout on the same page, also in a new tab; the billing page refreshes when you come back to it.

What you do there

  • Update the card on file.
  • Download invoices and receipts.
  • Change or cancel the subscription. Upgrades apply right away (prorated, renewal date unchanged); downgrades are scheduled for your next renewal — see Changing plan.
  • Update billing details, including tax identifiers where applicable.

Changes made in the portal flow back through a signed webhook, so your plan, limits, and credit grants update without any manual step here.

Who can open it

Owners and admins. Members and viewers do not see billing.

Resold clients

A workspace provisioned by a reseller does not use our portal — the reseller owns the commercial relationship and the subscription. Where the reseller bills through their own payment account, you get their portal instead, opened from your own billing page; see Plans from your provider. Otherwise the page shows a managed-by-your-provider notice and billing questions go to them.

Resellers manage their own subscription through the same portal, at the organisation level. See Reseller plans and billing.

If billing is not configured

When Stripe is not configured for a deployment, the product still runs with plan limits enforced, in a "billing not configured" mode. You would see this on a self-hosted or evaluation deployment, not on app.evoriqa.com.
